Turnarounds & Workouts Editorial Guidelines
Turnarounds & Workouts welcomes contributions from restructuring experts who wish to share their knowledge and perspectives. Our publication serves as a platform for clear, original ideas and thoughtful analysis that contribute to informed discussion among our readers.
All contributions must be submitted via email to tope@beardgroup.com. To ensure a smooth editorial process, please follow these guidelines:
Originality: Articles must be original and not previously published, including on the author’s or their firm’s own website, blog or social media accounts.
Length: Articles should be at least 1,000 words in length.
Headline: Feature articles should include two suggested headlines: (i) a longer version suitable for the Table of Contents; and (ii) a shorter, compelling display headline to appear above the article.
Format: Plain text or rich text format is preferred. You may use any font type (Times New Roman is suggested), but please use font size 11.
Footnotes and End notes: Please avoid using footnotes and end notes, if possible.
Data Presentation: Tabular or graphical data presentation is welcome.
Advertorials: Advertorials are discouraged.
Multiple Authors: We welcome multiple authors from the same firm (same or different practice) or from different firms.
Author Bio: Please provide a short bio for each author at the end of the article.
Headshot Photo: Please include a high-resolution headshot of each author, preferably with a white background, upon submission.
Deadlines: Contributors are expected to submit completed manuscripts by the 20th of each month (or the next business day if the 20th falls on a weekend). Submissions received by this date will be considered for the issue two months ahead (e.g., a submission on March 20 will be considered for the May issue). Please include the full text, suggested headlines (per our headline guidelines), a short author bio, and any accompanying images or supporting materials. Publication dates are subject to change and may be moved one month earlier or later depending on editorial needs.
Copyright: The author retains copyright of their work post-publication in Turnarounds & Workouts. Any post-publication distribution by the author shall state the content was first published in Turnarounds & Workouts.
We appreciate your adherence to these guidelines and look forward to reviewing your submission.
